Roberts Tate Obtains $2.75 Million Settlement Against the City of Savannah

Roberts Tate obtained a $2.75 million settlement for a class of tour company operators in the City of Savannah. At issue was a $1 per tourist Preservation Fee paid by tour companies for tour participants. Roberts Tate alleged that the Preservation Fee violated the free speech clause of the First Amendment as well as the Special District provision of the Georgia Constitution.
