Beth Adams serves as the Office Manager and Legal Assistant at Roberts Tate, LLC. She primarily handles property tax appeals for the firm at the administrative level. She has worked with Jay Roberts in the matter of ad valorem tax appeals since 2010, and in 2009, she worked for Glynn County Board of Equalization as its Secretary. Prior to that, Beth spent twelve years as the Advertising and Marketing Director for Nalley Brunswick Automobiles. Other past jobs include radio voice talent, graphic artist, billing manager for various radio stations and as a television/radio station news anchor.
Beth is a 1988 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelors of Arts in Broadcast Journalism. She has two grown daughters and lives in Brunswick with her husband, Tony.
Neisis Humphreys joins the firm as a Paralegal.
Lauren DeGiusti serves as a Legal Assistant to the firm, primarily handling insurance and local civil matters. Lauren has been a resident of St. Simons Island since 2019, after relocating with her husband from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lauren graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Arts & Sciences from the University of Oklahoma in 2009 and has since worked in several project management and operational roles. In her free time, Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband Tony, reading, exercising, and exploring the southeast coast.
Carrie Toler joins the firm as the Tax Appeals Coordinator and Legal Assistant to James L. Roberts, IV. Prior to joining the firm, she worked for Glynn County Appraisal Office from 2003 to 2021 where she served as their Deputy Chief Appraiser. Carrie also holds an Appraiser IV designation with the Department of Revenue. Other past jobs include Real Estate Sales and Banking. Carrie enjoys spending her time with her three boys and being on the water.
Paul relocated to St. Simons from Athens, Georgia, where he served as a Runner/Legal Assistant for a local law firm. He received his Associates Degree in Business Administration from the University of North Georgia. In his free time Paul enjoys golfing and watching University of Georgia football.
